I cannot ignore the fact that we are going through a historical moment in our lifetime. The actual situation related to the COVID-19 is forcing us to be isolated and removing people from different world-wide busy spaces like Times Square, Fontana di trevi, or Shibuya crossing.
We realize that we can enjoy more being outside than inside, socializing than being isolated, showing us the real value of Public Space over the Private Space.
A new era is ahead, and architects must be prepared for this, learning and understanding more the nature of human beings.
- Now I understand even more, that in order to keep our cities alive we need the people to be out there.-
